Ghana’s hard work and love for technology shone brightly at the ENJOY AI Global Robotics Championship 2024 in Shanghai, China. Competing against 34 countries and over 100,000 participants, the MakersPlace Robotics Team represented Ghana with creativity, teamwork, and determination, earning international praise and awards.
The team, made up of amazing students from Globen School, RisingSun Montessori, and Brentford International Academy, made Ghana proud. After months of hard training in robotics, coding, and artificial intelligence, their efforts paid off with two big wins:
- Most Dedicated Team Award
- Team Spirit Award
On top of this, The MakersPlace was named the Best Organization, showing how much they’ve done to support STEM education in Ghana. This achievement isn’t just about awards; it shows how technology and education can help shape the future for young people.

The ENJOY AI Global Robotics Championship is one of the biggest robotics competitions in the world. It brings together young problem-solvers from many different countries to show off their skills in technology, teamwork, and creativity.
